Tess met Christopher Nguyen in 2014 through her Stanford circle of friends. Chris is a repeat founder with successful exits, a former Google Apps Director, and holds an engineering PhD from Stanford. Chris is a brilliant technologist who successfully builds loyalty in his team. He truly is an inspirational leader who is doing great things in artificial intelligence.
Aitomatic is an industrial AI application engine that help users build apps that make industrial manufacturing and maintenance processes more efficient and more intelligent. Aitomatic does this through its unique approach of incorporating human knowledge into the AI process.
Tess has been following Christopher's experiences as an entrepreneur, and his last industrial AI company was acquired by Panasonic. After finding out that Christopher and co-founders had left Panasonic after several years to start Aitomatic, Tess contacted Christopher to offer her help in his new company. Christopher was thrilled to have Tess' support, as she invested in Aitomatic and helped the company raise capital and connect with customers. It's been a mutually beneficial relationship. This is one of Tess' fundamental goals in working with founders and investors.
