Belinda is a promising young leader who is highly coachable and continues to learn and improve herself. We are excited to see and participate in her future successes and are thrilled to have invested in her!
Belinda is the co-founder and CEO of Viva Translate, which is a cross-language translation tool that helps freelancers and remote teams around the world. Belinda was also a Lightspeed Fellow in 2019 and worked at Google. She has a B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford and left her M.S. in Management Science & Engineering to pursue Viva.
Tess is incredibly empathetic and genuine. Tess puts in incredible energy into cultivating relationships, and has been very giving in her time to help me grow. She also has an incredible network of individuals and I am comfortable bouncing ideas and reaching out to her for startup advice.
As a seed stage founder, Tess has been an incredible mentor not only for our startup but for my personal development. She has given me very helpful advice pulling from her extensive experience working with other founders at all company stages. Particularly for hiring, she's given pointed advice as we hire important team members such as senior engineering or Chief of Staff roles. She encourages me to think not only for the next year of the startup, but for our long-term strategy.
She also has a strong foundation and knowledge base related to SaaS and crypto. I've learned so much from Tess and look forward to continuing to work with her!
